Once my geography teacher told me, “jab jago tab savera!” Perhaps translated as “Your morning is when ‘you’ wake up!”, a line that continues to inspire me to dare, persist, struggle, fail, bounce back and again make earnest efforts towards the accomplishment of a more fulfilling life. 

But the question here is “How to wake up?”

To answer it, once Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam maintained, “You have to dream before your dreams can come true”. Getting the relation between dreaming and waking up? No? Let me explain.

“You have to dream to wake up man!”.

Yea!, You heard it right. It means being a day-dreamer.

And don’t forget that “dreams without actions are lifeless”. So for your dreams to come true, you have to take actions, making a fresh start. And “a better start begins with a better morning.”

It also gives you more time than the ones not waking up earlier. It’s reasonable to wake up early because waking up earlier also entails going to bed earlier, making your life more disciplined. 

             Drink a full glass of water

Water is life. Indeed this cliche line is true. Drinking water, especially before brushing your teeth will cause high blood pressure to lessen and regulate blood sugar levels the whole day. Also, a glass of water ensures your rehydration after waking up.  

Write down your goals and priorities

Writing down your goals is the first step towards the achievement of them. It makes your desires/ goals more vivid, helping you define plans to take further steps to achieve them. Defining your priorities and goals on a paper also prepares you mentally to remember them, as you yourself have created them. 

                 Do some workout

Having had a good sleep, it becomes inevitable to move your body a bit and working out is the best way. It doesn’t need much explanation or clarification, it has already come to become a universal truth that working out makes your body stronger, agile and even flexible. You may also try Yoga. 

                 Do some meditation

Now after physical fitness, it’s also crucial to pay attention to your mental health and wellness. Exercising your brain is as instrumental as Exercising your body. All you need is just a quiet place to sit calmly and start your journey to inner discovery. 

 You will find innumerable benefits attributed to meditation across the internet. Just choose any reputed blog or YouTube video to learn to meditate and remember one thing i.e. concentration and resilience are the keys to meditation.
